My little brother is afraid to get shot, stabbed or mugged in LA?

I'm scared to get shot or stabbed too, it looks like it hurts. And what would I do if I get mugged, how would I pay the bills. but I'm not scared of these things while I'm in LA because its safe here. sure theres the bad parts of LA like Compton, Watts, South Central, ECT, but as long as you stay in the popular destinations you'll be fine.
