Is it verbal/mental/emotional abuse?

Okay, I think I'm being overdramatic, but I want your opinion. It's about my dad. My dad has nothing nice to say to me or my mom lately. When he comes home, if we made dinner he'll say it tastes bad, refuse to eat it and make a sandwich. If we didn't, he'll yell at us and then won't talk to us for a day or two. Everything has to be clean when he comes home, even though he made most of the messes. One day, I spent hours cleaning and it looked a million times cleaner. When my dad came home, he just picked apart each room, pointing out every little thing I missed even though he made most of the mess. Everything that my mother or I say is made fun of, shot down, or taken the wrong way and he starts screaming. If we sleep too late (as in after 9 or so) he gets mad. When we get up that early and wake him up, he screams. One day last week, me and my friend spent 3 hours playing random card games with him, then listened to him play guitar for 2 hours, then went to the park with him for an hour. Later, he lectured me saying that I didn't spend enough time with him. Whenever I leave for church or mention Christianity, he comes up with a rude remark telling me how stupid I am for believing in it. There's more. He's made me and my mom feel worthless. I don't know if this is possibly verbal, mental, or emotional abuse, or if I'm just being overdramatic. I want your honest opinion.
