Why does Y!A have a limit to where you have to stop answering questions?

So I was about to answer a question and then an annotation that says "You have reached your daily answering limit. Please come back tomorrow" That's so stupid and they never used to do that. It was probably there a long time ago but I've been away from Y!A for a while.
