Do I contact him or not?

Well ma and my ex bf brokeup lik two months back.. And we have not talked to eachother since.. V have lots of common friends and when ever we all go out he never comes.. Before breaking up v both had promised eachother that no matter what v would stay friends.. V wer really close before and now I really miss him.. I mean I still love him but I mainly miss just having him in my life! But I really dunno if I should ask to be friends again as I don't know how he would react.. I am gonna b shifting next month and I really want all my memories over here to be good! I mean v just get one life! Y waste it!! So could u pls just tel me whether I should contact him or shouldn't? And if I should then what should I say?? Thank you for readin so much! :)
