Average to rent an apartment and overall cost?

I was just curious on how much you pay monthly for rent. Also how much it costs to actually move into the apartment like how much it is to purchase the apartment not buy the whole place but for renting to actually move in. Wow, I probably sound stupid because I really don't know what I'm talking about. Can someone just please give me any details and average price for a two bedroom apartment. Pretty much all detail from going from your parents house to first month of moving into the apartment. Thanks!
