Ramadan: do not befriend christians and jews??

salamm!(:' okay the qu'ran directly and exactly commanded us to not be friends with people of other faiths like christians and jews. Or does it mean something else? Because the qu'ran also allow us to MARRY them. Confused. Helpp????
