Hi, im playing "The Witcher Enhanced Edition" for PC and am in 2nd chapter and am on the "Mysterious Tower" qu?

hi, im playing "The Witcher Enhanced Edition" for PC and am in 2nd chapter and am on the "Mysterious Tower" quest and i have to find and place ten stone things, well, see, i found like 8 of them, then i was by the golem pilars and i activated all three of them, and it killed me, and when i loaded my game, all the stone things that i activated, were now "not activated" and i already used the stones, and its like a glitch or something, because now i cant get in the tower because the towers are not activated and i cant get any more stones, plus, how do i lure kalkstein to the tower? he keeps telling me to "get lost and dont return" so please help, this sucks.
