Vegans : Why don't you help us then?????

I mean, i understand that you feel sympathy towards animals getting killed because you beleive they have rights like us. So i believe too but considering we are apart of the food chain then we have our rights to eat them.(not being harsh) just like these same animals eat other animals for food. I aslo believe killing or torturing them for the sake of fun is completely wrong and against their rights and is cruel! In the Qu'ran, we are allowed to eat certain animals but not too much as it said we are not to eat meat 40days straight. This gives us the impression that too much meat is not good for us. I love the idea of taking a break off eating meat because i feel very considerate. BUT THE PROBLEM IS i can't find any vegetables that can replace meat as in ACTUALLY having a good taste. So its like to you telling a drug dealer to stop taking drugs without giving GOOD replacement. If you get what i mean
