Can someone help me? I got caught shoplifting..!!?

I live in California and yea...hahah..umm...I got caught shoplifting...I'm 16 though and this is first time...I would appreciate if you guys didn't put stuff like "stupid" or "you deserved it"....I know I did wrong and the pain I have now can't make up for it, because my parents hate me now too. I'm so worrued about my chances at colleges and jobs...Can anyone help me? I don't want probation...School is all I have left...Please...give me some advice
